These terms govern your use of Ashkoo. By using the platform, you acknowledge having read and accepted them. The same terms apply in identical form to all users across all countries the platform operates in.

§ 1Definitions

"Platform" means the Ashkoo service through all its interfaces. "User" any person creating an account or submitting content. "Consumer" a user submitting a case. "Company" a legal entity registered on the platform or mentioned in a case. "Case" any message submitted by a consumer about a service or product.

§ 2Nature of the platform

Ashkoo is a neutral technical intermediary. The platform’s role is limited to relaying consumer content to the relevant company through organized channels, and providing dialogue and review tools between the parties. The platform does not issue judgments, does not rule on the veracity of claims, and does not impose any outcome on any party.

§ 3Acceptance and capacity

Minimum age is 18. By using the platform you acknowledge being a legal adult and not under any judicial restriction from contracting. Accounts created with false information are closed without notice.

§ 4User-submitted content

The user acknowledges that any content submitted (text, images, video, documents) is truthful and based on a real personal experience, and does not infringe third-party rights. The user is solely legally responsible for the content they submit. The platform receives a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the content solely to operate the service. The platform reserves the right to request supporting documents or additional verification when needed.

§ 5Prohibited content

Prohibited content includes: (a) personal insults or hate speech; (b) sensitive personal data of third parties; (c) claims lacking demonstrable factual basis; (d) plagiarized content; (e) content unrelated to a consumer experience. All content goes through moderation before public posting.

§ 6Case lifecycle and public posting

Every case starts private between the consumer and the named company. The company is notified and has 72 hours to respond (24 hours for premium accounts when paid tiers launch later). If a resolution is reached, the case is archived. If the company does not respond or no agreement is reached, the consumer may request public posting — the decision to publish lies exclusively with the platform, at its sole discretion, after review of compliance with content rules and assessment of legal risk. Submitting a publication request does not in itself constitute an obligation by the platform to publish.

§ 7Company right of reply and review

Every company has the full right to: (a) officially respond to any case, with equal prominence; (b) submit a review request via info@ashkoo.com if it believes a case lacks factual basis or violates its rights — the platform commits to handling the request within 48 hours; (c) request deletion of a resolved case with the consumer’s consent. A company’s non-response is not an admission of the claim.

§ 8Editorial neutrality and platform liability

Ashkoo does not adopt user content as its editorial position, does not verify it, and does not endorse it. Published content reflects only the personal experiences and allegations of its authors. The platform operates as a neutral technical intermediary. Legal responsibility for the content of any case lies solely with its author. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, the platform disclaims liability for direct or indirect harms arising from user content.

§ 9Automated processing and AI

The platform may use automated systems and AI-powered tools for: content filtering, personal-data masking, readability improvement, translation, offensive-language mitigation, and preliminary moderation. These operations do not alter the essential meaning of content and do not constitute editorial ownership by the platform. Legal responsibility for content remains with the original author.

§ 10Account suspension and content removal

The platform reserves the right to suspend or close any account and remove any content that violates these terms, in its reasonable discretion. Affected parties are notified and have a 7-day appeal right via info@ashkoo.com.

§ 11Intellectual property

Trademarks, logos and source code belong to Ashkoo. Users retain the IP rights to their original content, while granting the platform a license to use it within the scope of operating the service.

§ 12Brand membership

Brand membership is currently fully free for all companies. The platform reserves the right to launch paid plans with additional features later; at that point, existing free accounts retain their prerogatives — they will not be revoked.

§ 13Notice & takedown

Any party with a legitimate interest may submit a takedown request via info@ashkoo.com specifying: the content concerned, the legal basis, and contact details. The platform responds within 48 hours, and immediately removes any content found to violate these terms or applicable law.

§ 14Data and privacy

The published Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these terms. By using the platform you agree to the data-processing practices described therein.

§ 15Not legal advice

No content, reply, summary, or recommendation provided through the platform constitutes legal advice, financial advice, or an official consumer-arbitration ruling. The platform is a mediation channel only and does not replace competent courts or official consumer-protection authorities.

§ 16Local law compliance

Users are personally responsible for compliance with applicable laws in their country regarding: defamation, commercial reputation, consumer protection, personal data protection, and electronic publishing. Local laws applicable in the countries where the platform operates (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, others) apply independently of these terms.

§ 17Modifications

These terms may be modified periodically. Material changes are communicated 30 days in advance. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

§ 18Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the country of incorporation of the company operating the platform. Disputes not resolved amicably are brought before competent courts. This does not override mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
