Bridging consumers and companies
Ashkoo is a neutral mediation platform that helps consumers and companies communicate to reach fair outcomes. We are not a court and not a regulator — we are a dialogue tool.
Our mission
In many Arab countries the communication channel between customer and company shuts down after the sale. We wanted to open a simple, documented channel — one where the customer's voice reaches the company in hours rather than weeks, and where the company gets a fair chance to respond before any public escalation.
Our principles
Neutrality
We do not take sides. Same rules apply to consumers and to companies.
Privacy first
Every case starts private — only the consumer and the company can see it. Public posting is optional and comes later.
Dialogue before publication
The company gets a response window before any public disclosure. Our goal is resolution, not exposure.
Right of reply
Every company has the right to respond, provide documents, or request review if it believes a case is misleading.
How it works
- 1
Consumer files privately
The consumer submits the issue with details and any supporting documents. Content is not visible to the public at this stage.
- 2
Company is notified directly
The company receives the notification in a dedicated dashboard and has 72 hours (24h for premium tiers later) to respond.
- 3
Resolution-focused dialogue
Both parties exchange messages and documents on the platform. Everything is timestamped and archived.
- 4
Resolution (or consensual publication)
If a resolution is reached, the case is closed and archived. If the company doesn't respond or no agreement is reached, the consumer may request public posting — and the company retains its public right of reply.
What we do not do
- —We do not issue judgments and do not order any compensation.
- —We do not verify every claim — the platform is a mediation channel, and the user is legally responsible for content they publish.
- —We do not allow defamatory or hateful content, or claims without factual basis. All content goes through review before public posting.
- —We do not sell user data. We do not publish sensitive personal information.
Our legal status
Ashkoo operates as a neutral technical intermediary. The platform’s role is limited to relaying consumer content to the relevant company through organized channels, in compliance with applicable electronic-media and e-commerce regulations in our operating countries. Legal responsibility for the content of any case lies solely with its publisher. Full terms: Terms of use →
